The pricing for our products is as follows:

We offer special pricing for new users that are switching from a competitors software. Please call us for details.

All of our products include phone and email support for the first year and 1 year of new version upgrades. You can also purchase additional annual support. Please refer to the charts below for exact pricing.

Support includes phone and email support and technical support for installation and configuration as well as free upgrades to all future versions released during the support period. (*Installation and configuration support does not include network installation because of the variables involved in setting up a network.)

 

PDA Modules are available for PocketPC Platforms. (PDA Modules synchronize selected system data with your PDA.)

Support Pricing:

Every B & I Software Package includes 1 year of support and 1 year of updates from the initial purchase date. The cost for annual support after the first year is outlined in the Support/Year column in the table above. As long as a user is current with their support payments, they will continue to receive unlimited support and free updates as they are released. If a user allows their support to expire, there are 2 options if they want support or updates:

1) they can pay the total outstanding support owed from the date their support expired to the next anniversary of their purchase date. If more than 1 year has passed since the support expired, there is a 15% discount off the total support bill.

(If support expired on 3/15/2006 for a Childcare Sage LC, and it is now 8/13/2007, the total support bill would be $127.50 (this amount includes 15% off of 2 years of support; 3/15/2006 to 3/15/2007 and 3/15/2007 to 3/15/2008 at $75 per year,) to extend support to 3/15/2008.)

2) they can pay the annual support cost for their software package to receive 2 months of support and updates from the current date.

(If support expired on 3/15/2006 for a Childcare Sage LC, and it is now 8/13/2007, the total support bill would be $75 for support from 8/13/2007-10/13/2007.)


Upgrade Pricing:

The cost to upgrade between versions of our software is simply the difference in price between the versions. Please call us for exact update pricing on network versions and multiple packages. The products that can be updated are:

CONTACT Sage -> CONTACT Sage Pro

If more than 1 package is ordered in a single purchase, there is a 15% discount for each package in the order.

Data Conversions:

These are average costs for conversions that we have done for our clients. We will always quote you a fixed price for the data conversion before work begins.

(Keep in mind that data conversions can be very labor intensive.)

At this time, two way synchronization with the PDA module cannot be used from multiple computers over a network. (Two way synchronization will work on 1 computer over the network, and the other computers will support 1 way synchronization.) Support prices for packages used over a network are individually determined.

 

The current price for custom software development is $100 per hour.

Shipping and Download Policy:

All new software orders are available for download within 24 hours of us receiving payment. (It may take up to 7 days for check payments to clear.) In addition, we always send out the software you purchased on CD-Rom via USPS first class mail. The software package that we send to you includes the product CD-Rom, installation instructions, several brochures, and the product serial number in a separate sealed green envelope.

 

Software is mailed out within 48 hours of us receiving payment. Most users receive the software within 3 days of us sending it out.

 

Return Policy:

When you purchase one of our products, after your credit card or check is approved, (it may take up to 7 business days for check payments to clear) we will mail you our product CD-Rom with the serial number for registration included in a separate sealed green envelope in the software package. Once this separate green envelope is opened, no refunds will be given. Additionally, if you request that the serial numbers be emailed to you, there will be no refunds given once the email is sent.

 

B & I Software products are all available as try-before-you-buy, fully functional trials (downloadable or on trial disks.) We provide free 30 day trial versions of all of our software for you to fully evaluate our products. In addition, all of our Retail software will work for 30 days after installation before it must be registered (and can no longer be returned.) In the unlikely event that you want to return our software, simply contact us by phone or email to get an RMA number, write the RMA number on the outside of the software package, make sure the software package is complete and includes the sealed and unopened green serial number envelope, and return the entire software package to us postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date.

 

We will only accept a software product return if the entire software package is returned to us and postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date, the serial number envelope has not been opened, and that you have a valid RMA number written on the outside of the package. Returns that are incomplete, lack an RMA number, contain an opened serial number envelope, or that are postmarked after 30 days from the purchase date, will be sent back to you.

 

Our support staff is available to assist in installation and configuration via email and telephone support during support hours (M-F 9am-5pm EST), and our product forums are always available. If there are any installation issues during the trial or pre-registration period or after purchase, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
