Department of Energy 10-year database project:

·         Prior contractor attempt to develop data entry and retrieval system was scrapped after $14 million in expense

·         Gathered requirements, designed, coded and tested 3,500 line program to organize and present data from 5 Energy Information Administration forms.

·         Front end allowed users to select data from all forms for up to three different grouping levels

 

Department of Energy Forms Front End Upgrades:

·         Update, add features, and debug database collection and analysis tools.

·         Repair non-working analysis and report software. Interpret customer information needs and design database structure, entry forms and reports to fill those needs.

 

Project Tracking System:

·         Develop contractor-tracking software and add new features per customer request and task analysis.

 

12/98-3/2000: Programmer, Science Application International Corporation. 

 

DOJ JWN:Billed as Database Analyst/Programmer 

Initial study to recommend an updated wireless network in support of the Department of Justice.

·         Designed the relational database, SQL queries and reports to answer specific contract goals.

·         Designed and coded a VB program and subsequent SQL strings to extract and organize specific data from the Government Master File and convert it to MS ACCESS.

·         Parsed through the Government Master File and extracted relevant information to provide proposal support for a wireless network upgrade contract.

 

ATM Network Performance Analysis: Billed as Senior Comm Specialist

Analysis contract for DSSG(Global) to monitor and report on network characteristics.

·         Designed and coded various extraction programs and numerous query and analysis code to convert Bandwidth and CPU usage flat files to relational database format.

·         Designed and coded data analysis software to search the data above for trends

 

DISA Aqostart Project: Billed as Senior Software Engineer

Worldwide network testing project with Internet data retrieval.

·         Designed user interface for test station software as well as web based database interface. Designed and wrote the web based interface in ASP, JAVA and HTML observing C2 SECURITY access guidelines.

·         Designed and wrote replacement testing software in VB6 with numerous upgrades in software functionality, error checking, and status reporting.

·         Updated user and administrator manuals and wrote programmer manuals for future software enhancement and/or changes.
